High Tech Mission Viejo Homes Lacking in 2015
It’s 2015! Where Are All the High Tech Mission Viejo Homes?
As we enter the middle of the second decade of the twenty-first century, according to the Julian calendar, I’m disappointed in the lack of high tech Mission Viejo homes . Not to start the year of on a downer, but seriously? Watching The Jetsons every week as a hopeful kid with her eyes on the stars, I didn’t think it farfetched at all to imagine I would grow up to live in one of the high tech Mission Viejo homes the cartoonists and science fiction authors conjured up for us. See if you agree with me that these are the things you’re disappointed we don’t have the high tech Mission Viejo homes, but imagined we could have had, today.
Kitchens that prepare entire meals instantly – As much as I depend on my microwave, and realize that is a step up from the one oven I grew up with in my mother’s kitchen, it is not the same as tapping a couple of keys and having a complete dinner land on the table. This takes the notion of a “upgraded kitchen” to a whole new level. Stainless steel appliances will be surpassed by the “fully automated meal preparation cube.” Now that would definitely make your home more valuable!
Helpful, Hard Working Robots With Personality – I still find myself wondering how housework will be transformed once we have Rosie the Robot. She cooked, she cleaned, and she put Astro on the doggie treadmill. Wouldn’t that be a nice feature to offer with your new home? Sure, there will have to be some additional forms limiting liability and warranting operation when you buy or sell a house and throw in the robot house keeper. We have plenty of lawyers to figure that out. We just need someone to invent the robot. And re-configure the kitchen to accommodate a robot charging station to be functional and decorative.
Personal Hairstyle Domes – Don the personal hairstyle dome and poof – your hair is dyed, cut, washed, dried and styled to perfection at the touch of a button. The choices of shapes, sizes, accessories and materials for the personal hairstyle domes will no doubt impact bathroom design for decades to come.
Flying Cars – No more concrete, asphalt, traffic lights or left turn lanes – flying cars with the presumed auto route programmability, collision aversion technology, and zero emissions – isn’t this what we’re all looking for? Of course the retro-fit for all of the garages to open from the top will pose a challenge, but nothing a clever handy man can’t solve by creating a telescoping platform as a launch pad. Designing the car to actually fold up into a brief case you can easily carry can wait until the second half of the 21st century. We have time to work on DIY garage remodeling kits once we no longer need them to store our autos.
Personal Ejection Pods From the Flying Cars – no more long lines of cars at school drop off and pick up – just encase your kids in their own pod and drop them from your flying car right on top of the school. Works for me.
Let’s get busy this year people! How much longer can we go on replacing our kitchen counters, cabinets, and appliances with more stylish versions of the same old things without looking for something more inventive, creative, and extraordinary?
